The Security Deposit is a financial security in case something happens during your rental. Normally, the amount reflects the liability on the insurance. The Security Deposit is not paid to Vagabond Campers, it’s just secured on your Credit Card. After getting back a damage free camper, we will release the amount and it will no longer be tied up on your Credit Card.
Yes, you can. In case you cancel within 30 days before your rental period, we will refund 50% of the total amount. After this it will be no refund. We are happy to make a statement for you to present to your insurance company, who in many cases are covering cancellations on the Travel Insurance.
Our campers are equipped with Auto Pass Electronic devices, registering passings both on the roads and also travels by ferries. We will make a report after you have returned the camper and deduct this on the Security Deposit.
Yes, but the additional drivers must be registered at Vagabond Campers before picking up the camper. There will be an additional fee for drivers younger than 25 yo.
All our campers are covered by CDW, including Roadside Assistance. This is included in the rentand maximum liability is NOK12,000 per case of damage. Vagabond Campers offers additional coverage to reduce your liability to NOK 6.000 or NOK 3.000.
Child seats are mandatory up to age of 12 yo in Norway. Vagabond Campers offers child seats in all categories.
We know you have a busy schedule, that’s why we are doing the final cleaning on return. This is a mandatory service at Vagabond Campers, so just tidy up and leave the rest to us.
Our standard Driving Distance is 250 km per day. If you need more, just add a package to your booking. You can do that whenever you want, also during your trip.
Vagabond campers accept Credit Cards via Stripe and PayPal. We also accept Bank Transfer if preferred. Please let us know and we will help.
You can pick up the camper at our office in Drammen. We are offering fixed rates for pick-up and drop-off in Oslo City, Oslo Airport (OSL) and Torp Airport (TRF). You are free to combine as you wish.
We are offering a broad range of equipment to make your trip more comfortable. Please let us know if something is missing and we will act.
You are welcome to bring your pet along. Please understand that we will need more time and efforts on the final cleaning and preparation for the next guests. We will have to add an extra “pet” fee of NOK 500.
