VW California 4Motion

“Sande” is a very well-equipped VW California in perfect shape. It has both a Webasto fuel based heating system and an electrical DEFA WarmUp system. Together with 4Motion (4WD) and Traction Control, this make “Sande” a perfect choise for all seasons.

Kitchen and livingroom area
In the kitchen department, you will find a double gas stove, all kitchen essentials, a fridge to keep your procecco cold, running water with a sink, and a massive 55 l freshwater tank. Indoor table and swivel front seats to enjoy happy moments with family or friends. 

Bedrooms
The rear seat is foldable, which is converted it to a double bed in less than two minutes. The second floor contains another double bed. The roof runs up and down electrically and you climb up via the front seats. It is a pleasure to sleep upstairs, especially in the summer months.

Storage
The VW California has a lot of well-designed compartments to store your belongings. Although there are plenty of options, we recommend packing smartly and not bringing more than necessary. This applies especially if there are more than two of you. Don’t bring hard shell suitcases.

Driving
The VW California camper is very easy driven.  You can park anywhere, and sleep in a parking lot in the middle of the city after visiting the nightclubs. This edition is equipped with a 5-cylinder diesel engine that produces 174 hp. The car has a manual gearbox with six gears, and Four-Wheel Drive. 

Electrical system
The car has a two-part electrical system, where the leisure part is powered by two large separate batteries. These are charged while driving, and do not strain the starter battery. When staying at a campsite, you can connect the car to a power station and have the leisure batteries charged further. At the same time, you will activate the 200V outlet, which is located behind the driver’s seat.
